    Even the hands are perfect and thatโ€™s difficult in any medium. Your watercolors are really excellent, Steve. Iโ€™m in awe! And motivated to keep practicing!

      Hmmm, the hands and face were the least favourite outcome of the practice for me, it was a very low resolution picture to base it from from but that’s now real excuse.
      My favourite part of this other than trying to get the pose right was trying to represent the cloth and the lost edges. As it happens, my favourite part of my Stephen Hawking portrait last week was the shirt and scarf.
      Yes, got to keep practicing practicing practicing – I’ve got 3-4 part done practices on the go so should hopefully post a bunch of them soon.

        I like drawing cloth with its folds as well. My painting, however is still in the realm of abstract! Maybe rudimentary Impressionism! Looking forward to seeing your new work!
