Henry Fuseli in ink. (Updated)

(Updated – I had missed a few lines before so here’s the updated version)

The original (2nd image) is a favourite of art students to practice chalk and charcoal studies but I thought I’d give it a go with the brushed ink.

It was challenging to get expressive lines which aren’t too heavy. The ink brush is very sensitive and unforgiving.

This is portrait 39 of #100portraits100days project.
