Sketch practice

A couple of sketches as practice for learning techniques.

The Etherington Brothers are well worth Googling for if you’re interested in cartoon style drawing.

However the principles they teach in their short lessons would be equally valid for other forms of art, particularly those that are “How to think when drawing …” – anything that has you pondering representing 3d forms on 2d paper is good.

This church was one of my own, partially copied from life and partly imagination.

And finally a watercolour practice based on a Christmas card.
